Citizens Health
Citizens Energy developed Citizens Health, a non-profit to assist people with the rising costs of health services and prescription drugs.  The burden of rising health care and prescription drug costs falls the hardest on older Americans living on fixed incomes and family breadwinners working at jobs without benefits or enough income to afford health insurance. Using the Citizens Health card, members receive deep discounts on prescriptions at most local pharmacies or through mail-order delivery.
Programs
The Citizen Health Savings Program offers members discounts on health care services through a network of providers in numerous states.  For a low monthly fee, members can:

  • Access a national network of more than 350,000 health care professionals
  • Receive discounts on doctor visits and outpatient care
  • Get additional savings on dental care, vision care, and prescription drugs.

DISCLOSURE:  This plan is NOT insurance.  This is not a Medicare prescription drug plan.  The plan provides discounts at certain health care providers of medical services.  The plan does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services.  The plan member is obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those health care providers who have contracted with the discount medical plan organization.  The range of discounts will vary depending on the provider type and services provided.  This plan is administered by Coverdell & Company, Inc., a discount medical plan organization.  Coverdell & Company is located at 8420 W.
