The Shelter Winter Heating Assistance Program provides heating assistance to shelters that use oil to heat their building. Citizens Energy, in partnership with CITGO, will help to pay the cost of heating oil deliveries to qualified shelters between December 2007 and February 2008 with the understanding that the program relies on set funding and is not a guarantee.

An application form, accompanied by a copy of the shelter’s 501c3, must be submitted for each individual shelter.
