The Shelter Winter Heating Assistance Program provides heating assistance to shelters that use oil to heat their building. Citizens Energy, in partnership with CITGO, will help to pay the cost of heating oil deliveries to qualified shelters between January and February 2009 with the understanding that the program relies on set funding and is not a guarantee.  Last winter, 245 shelters participated in this program.

An application form, accompanied by a copy of the shelter’s 501c3, must be submitted for each individual shelter.
